Our cozy, comfortable urgent care center conveniently located in downtown Union Square San Francisco is available, by appointment, 24/7, and is less costly than an emergency room (ER) visit. Same day appointments available!
Our location affords easy access to nearby train stations and bus stops. Parking is available most times and a convenient garage is located within the building complex. We are usually able to accommodate same-day appointments. Our courteous, friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you in filing your insurance claims for maximum reimbursement.
If further care is needed, we refer patients to Saint Francis Hospital, Saint Mary’s Hospital, or California Pacific Medical Center.
Conditions We Treat
We diagnose and treat a host of medical conditions including but not limited to:
Asthma. Inflammation of the lungs, obstructed airflow, reversible airflow obstruction, bronchospasm.Allergies. Including seasonal allergies (hayfever) and perennial allergies (cat, dog, food,dust, etc.). Here in San Francisco, olive trees, pine, oak, mulberry and sycamore trees, and even chamise and sorrel dock are notorious for causing allergy flair ups, not to mention mold and grasses found in the city.
Back Pain. Chronic and acute back strain, pulled back, sore back.
Bites. From bed bugs to dog and cat bites, more rare cases of wild animals like squirrels or even human bites.
Bronchitis. Both chronic and acute (acute bronchitis is also commonly referred to as a chest cold), this inflammation of your lungs’ airways in the lungs. Can result in wheezing, shortness of breath, mucus and discomfort or pain in your chest.
Chest Pain. Angina and palpitations (where your heart skips beats.)
Common Cold. A viral infections disease in the upper respiratory tract that typically affects your nose the most, but can also lead to symptoms in your sinuses, throat and larynx. Symptoms often include sore throat, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, headache, and fever
Cold Sores. Herpes labialis, aka oral herpes, and specifically as Herpes Complex Type, is more common than you think, with some estimates stating that between 20 – 45% of the US population has the virus.
Colitis. Including food poisoning and stomach flu.
Conjunctivitis. Also known as pink eye (allergic, infectious, bacterial, viral.)
Constipation. Infrequent, difficult to pass bowl movements, where the stool is often hard and dry.
Cough. Does your coughing seem worse or irregular?
Cystitis. Urinary tract infection (UTI), bladder infection.
Dermatologic. Skin problems, including MRSA.
Diarrhea. Having three or more loose, watery bowel movements per day? Sometimes caused by acute and chronic including food poisoning, we can do a parasite evaluation and educate you on travelers’ diarrhea.
Emergency Contraception. The “morning after pill.”
Flu Shots.
Genital Herpes. Herpes type II, which can result in painful blisters and ulcers.
Gynecologic evaluation and treatment including referrals if needed.
Headaches. Including migraine and tension headaches.
HIV Testing and Counseling. Post exposure prophylaxis (PEP), including new 20 minute rapid HIV test.
Influenza. Flu, swine flu, with rapid influenza test available.
Injuries. Whiplash, leg, arm, wrist, ankle, shoulder sprains and strains. 24 hour X-ray referrals if needed.
Insect bites. Including spider, tick, and bedbug bites.
Pyelonephritis. Kidney infections.
Kidney stones. Also known as urolithiasis.

Otitis Externa. Swimmers ear.
Otitis Media. Ear infection, earache, clogged ear.
Pharyngitis. Chronic and acute sore throat, strep throat, with rapid strep test available.
Pneumonia. Inflammation of the lung, affecting small air sacs known as alveoli. 24 hour X ray referral available.
Pregnancy Testing.
Sinusitis. Or rhinosinusitis, acute and chronic sinus infection or congestion, this inflammation of the mucous membrane that lines the sinuses can produce thick nasal mucus, facial pain and a plugged nose.
Skin Rashes and Lesions. Such as psoriasis, seborrhea, scabies, insect bites, spider bites, acne, poison ivy, and skin allergies.
Sexually Transmitted Diseases. STD / STI, including STD screening.
Styes. Also known as hordeolum, this bacterial infection of an oil gland in the eyelid typically results in a red tender bump at the edge of the eyelid, though the outside or the inside of the eyelid can be affected.
Sutures / Stitches. From laceration repair to simple wound care. Suture removal available as well.
Travel Vaccinations. Including yellow fever, typhoid, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria tablets, Japanese encephalitis, meningitis, influenza, tetanus/diphtheria, Gardasil, Zostervax, measles, mumps & rubella (MMR), polio, Pnuemovax, rabies, etc. We offer solutions specifically tailored to your travel destination.
Vaginitis. Yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis (BV).
