Hi Dr Savage,

I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful medical care, compassion and education you provided the other night when you saw me for the "brutal" sinus infection I was experiencing.

I took your advice with all the medications - learning a lot more than ever before about treating my sinuses correctly - and was good to go yesterday afternoon. The flight back to NYC was just fine. My ears "crackled" and "popped" and I had no discomfort. Better than a lot of flights I've been on without an infection!

We shared our praise with the Westin St. Francis and also our son, who's a Starwood Hotel Executive. Not that you need many testimonials - your professional results speak for themselves.

Thanks again,

Melissa + Ed D.

Dr Savage, Faye and team,

I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and immediate attention in treating my kidney infection I was suffering. And you took the pain away.

You're wonderful medical professionals.

Best,

Whitney H.

Dear Dr Savage,

I am writing to thank you very much for the help you gave me - I think it was Oct. 13! As a result we had a wonderful holiday, travelling and returning to San Francisco. You gave me so much information about cystitis, and also some terrific one - ..... about - well, life! Hugely helpful and to the point. It is a visit I can remember for your kindness and directness. All your patients must feel very grateful to have you.

Wish warmest best wishes,

Merry M.

I first met Dr. Savage 7 years ago when I was working at the Westin hotel (now Parc Central) and now, 7 years later he is still my primary care physician despite changes with my career, insurance, even where I lived in the Bay Area. Dr. Savage is caring, understanding, and patient - the best doctor I have ever had. He once sat with me for 65 minutes while I cried and sobbed all without judgement or interruption (I had a personal crisis at that time and was beyond consolable - and this is an understatement). Dr Savage is not just smart and knowledgeable, he has compassion and empathy that most of doctors lack. His entire staff in the office are nice, considerate, positive, warm, and welcoming. The office is right next to the Westin St. Francis. :)

Jim Savage is an incredible doctor. He saw me after I had been to an urgent care where they misdiagnosed me about a really nasty cough that I had for 2 months and could not shake. He's different from any other doctor I've ever had because he really cares, he informed of long term effects of a cough and most importantly, he helped me get better within 4 days.

He is blunt, honest, brilliant, and a fantastic doctor. If you want someone to coddle and baby you - he's not the right doctor for you. As for the wait time - I think I waited ten minutes.

was in the same boat as many of the reviewers, I was sick at a conference, and I needed to see a doc, while was as in SF.  Now, in Miami we have lot's of urgent care centers, SF does not, there are a few, but they all want cash up front, etc.  I needed to find a clinic that would take my out-of-state insurance.  So, I googled, yelped, etc.  I found Dr. Savage who had a an office about 3 blocks from my hotel near Union Square.

I called, he answered the phone, told me to come in, and I did.

Basically, I had a severe sinus infection, and I needed to get it cleared up before I got back on the plane to go home.

When I meet with the doctor, he was professional, kind, and very clear.  He was also willing to explain various aspects of the treatment, and the issues with regard to upper resp. infections.  He staff called in my prescriptions to a Walgreens just next to my hotel, and I was good to  after two days, and I was ready for the plane home.  Last year my wife blew-out her ear drum when she had a similar infection on a trip, and her ears got clogged.  So be careful.

I am not sure where the bad reviews came from, this doctor is was very fine, I am not giving him 5 stars, b/c most of my reviews I give out 5's.

So, if your in from out-of-town, and need help, go to him, he will see you and get you well!

Additionally, it turns out, he see many aircrews and is very familiar with treatment if you have to fly.

I do recommend him if you need help.
