Hi Dr Savage,
I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful medical care, compassion and education you provided the other night when you saw me for the "brutal" sinus infection I was experiencing.
I took your advice with all the medications - learning a lot more than ever before about treating my sinuses correctly - and was good to go yesterday afternoon. The flight back to NYC was just fine. My ears "crackled" and "popped" and I had no discomfort. Better than a lot of flights I've been on without an infection!
We shared our praise with the Westin St. Francis and also our son, who's a Starwood Hotel Executive. Not that you need many testimonials - your professional results speak for themselves.
Thanks again,
Melissa + Ed D.
Dr Savage, Faye and team,
I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and immediate attention in treating my kidney infection I was suffering. And you took the pain away.
You're wonderful medical professionals.
Best,
Whitney H.
Dear Dr Savage and staff,
On 12/26/10 our son developed an eye infection while visiting San Francisco. We knew that we needed to find a doctor so he can continue to enjoy our family vacation. You office was open. You and your staff were professional and welcoming. His eye infection cleared up and we were all able to enjoy San Francisco.
Thank you for making yourself available.

Dear Dr. Savage,
I just wanted to take a moment to send you this quick note to say thank you so very much. I was at the Hyatt Regency on August 19th and encountered a problem with my eye. After speaking with the hotel front desk, they contacted you and you in turn contacted me. You asked me to come to your office. After arriving there you were so wonderful and quickly diagnosed the fact that I had an eye infection. (I cannot remember the name of it but you were funny when you said it sounded like something to eat.)
You were wonderful in diagnosing and explaining the problem and providing me with the necessary medication that I needed.
Because of you my husband and I were able to continue on with our Northern California tour. Without you we could not have done so.
As I told you, I would have liked to have tucked you into my pocket and brought you back to New Hampshire so that you could be our physician.
You were wonderful and I just wanted to say thank you again for all your help. We so appreciated you and we wish you the very best in the future.
Sincerely,
Pamela A.
PS. Your assistant in the office was super to deal with and we also want to recognize her.
Doctor Savage has been incredibly helpful over the years. Whether something as straightforward as a sinus infection or something more complicated like a pinched nerve, he's been a wealth of information and has always been a big help. He's had great medical advice. His staff is very helpful and compassionate. I'll continue to see Doctor Savage for any urgent care needs. Thanks again Doctor Savage.

Dr. Savage was incredibly insightful in diagnosing my medical problem - sinuses - and explaining in clear terms what I needed to do to avoid the problem going forward. Very simple, basic practices that nobody had explained to me before.
A very engaging man, he spends time with you until you understand what you need to do.
I highly recommend Dr. Savage -- maybe the best practitioner I have encountered -- was fortunate enough to encounter from as far back as I can remember.
Dr. Savage has been my primary for over 8 years. From regular weekday appointments to last minute evening visits on the weekend or holidays, Dr. Savage has been there for me 100% of the time. He's helped me from basic sinus infections, physical injury, and complicated surgeries like a tonsillectomy. Sure he can be quirky but I think it's part of his charm. I've even recommended Dr. Savage to friends and they love him.

was in the same boat as many of the reviewers, I was sick at a conference, and I needed to see a doc, while was as in SF. Now, in Miami we have lot's of urgent care centers, SF does not, there are a few, but they all want cash up front, etc. I needed to find a clinic that would take my out-of-state insurance. So, I googled, yelped, etc. I found Dr. Savage who had a an office about 3 blocks from my hotel near Union Square.
I called, he answered the phone, told me to come in, and I did.
Basically, I had a severe sinus infection, and I needed to get it cleared up before I got back on the plane to go home.
When I meet with the doctor, he was professional, kind, and very clear. He was also willing to explain various aspects of the treatment, and the issues with regard to upper resp. infections. He staff called in my prescriptions to a Walgreens just next to my hotel, and I was good to after two days, and I was ready for the plane home. Last year my wife blew-out her ear drum when she had a similar infection on a trip, and her ears got clogged. So be careful.
I am not sure where the bad reviews came from, this doctor is was very fine, I am not giving him 5 stars, b/c most of my reviews I give out 5's.
So, if your in from out-of-town, and need help, go to him, he will see you and get you well!
Additionally, it turns out, he see many aircrews and is very familiar with treatment if you have to fly.
I do recommend him if you need help.
